Danish Design Talent Prize

In the competition for the Danish design talent prize, 4 upcoming designers get chosen to create a mini collection, with a danish musician as a muse and a danish established designer as a mentor.

Last years winner was one of my favourite danish designers - Anne Sofie Madsen.
She had Charlotte Eskildsen from Designers Remix as a mentor, and she designed for Oh Land (who also is on the pictures).
This is some of the looks from the amazing mini collection she made:

Mewze challenge - bridesmaid dress

I just found this amazing website! The website, called http://www.mewze.com/, gives everyone a chance to submit their design, and if it wins, it will be produced and sold on their website.

The current design challenge, is to design a dress for the bridesmaid. An interesting challenge, because your design off course needs to be pretty, but not so it will take the attention away from the bride.
My idea of a perfect bridesmaid dress, is a cute little dress, that can fit all sort of body types and personalities. This is the design that i came up with:

If you like it, I would be really happy if you would vote for it at: http://www.mewze.com/view/?chal=cute-bow-dress. I am pretty sure that you don't need to register, you can just connect with Facebook! Thanks a lot :-)

Figure skating fashion

Figure skating must be one of the most fashionable sports in the world!
And I am so lucky that my really good friend, Sofia, is a figure skater.
We designed and made two dresses together, for her short and long program.

The first one is inspired by the black swan, and is supposed to be dark and mysterious.

The other one is the exact opposite, it was inspired by Romeo and Juliet, and is white and romantic.
