Kimono inspired overall

This is a kimono inspired overall/jumpsuit that I made last summer, and I wore it all the time, because it's so comfortable and light.
The other thing i really like about it, is the pink-ish ribbon that gives the look a subtle pop of color.

Flower photos

Flowers are probably one of the most photographed objects, and since everyone are taking photos of flowers, it's probably not the most interesting photographs to look at.
But there is a reason why we love to take pictures of flowers! They just have a special power, so they look beautiful no matter how bad a photographer you are.

When I am in sweden, in a very small city called Hultanäs, with my aunt and uncle, I always take lots of pictures of the amazing flowers in the swedish woods.
Here are some of my favorites, unedited:

50 gram fresh yeast
5 dl water
2 tablespoon salt
1 spoon honey
900 gram wheat flour

Stir the fresh yeast into the water, and add the other ingredients. After knead the dough to make it smooth and supple. Let dough rest about in15 minutes under a piece of plastic or cloth.

Divide the dough into 16 pieces and roll them into sausages. Then form each piece into a ring. Let them raise approx. 30 minutes a warm place.

Boil the rings in boiled water -  approx. 2 min. on each side, set them on wax paper and decorate them with sesame seeds, poppy seeds or grated cheese, like you want to.
Bake the bagels at 200 degrees celicious for approx. 30 minutes.

Animal fashionistas

No, I'm not talking about a very fashionable dog or cat. I'm talking about a rabbit and a toad.

They are a breath of fresh air, compared to all the fashion bloggers out there. They always wear the latest fashion, because they are extremely rich and aren't afraid of what everyone else are going to say -  (not because they aren't real...)

The toad has it's own tumblr site, which you can visit here

The rabbit is called Fifi Lapin and has her own blog, you can visit it here
I have been following Fifi Lapins blog for a looong time, so when I found this top, I just had to buy it!

Curtain makeover

I have had the same curtains since I was born, but I never really thought about changing them.
When you see the before pictures, you might think - What?? did she really have these curtains until now? And the embarrassing answer is - yes.
BUT - I finaly realized that they needed to go, and I have therefore sewed some new curtains in a lovely printed fabric. And that is also one of the pros of being able to sew, it's much cheaper than buying curtain fabric and getting a person at the curtain shop to sew it for you.

So here are the before pictures of my curtain - and yes, it's teddybears...

And here are the after photos - way better, right?

Welcome to the streetstylers!

This blog post is all about my new fellow bloggers, who will be taking care of the street-style section. Even though my favorite blogs are DIY blogs, I'm also a huge fan of fashion blogs, that are filled with awesome and experimental outfits.

So I have teamed up with Emilie and Paul, a super sweet couple with a really nice style, that best are described as... wait, why not let them describe it themselves?

A short interview with the couple Emilie and Paul:

How would you describe your style?
E - I would describe me style as casual.
P - Urban style

What is your favorite fashion item?
E - Definitely sneakers!!
P - My favorites are caps and sneakers

Who is your fashion icon?
E - I don't really have a fashion icon. I get inspired by the people at the street
P - It is Pharrel Williams

And here are a little taster of the streetstyler section
